Container & Balcony Plants
You don't need a garden to garden — a balcony, a doorstep, a windowsill is plenty.
This collection brings together the plants that thrive in pots: compact perennials, trailing bedding for hanging baskets, container-friendly herbs and edibles, and small-statured shrubs that won't outgrow their space. Hand-grown in Yorkshire, sized for real flats and small gardens.

Knowledge
Frequently asked
What size pot do these plants need?
Varies by plant — each product page lists the recommended pot size for healthy long-term growth. In general, go one or two pot sizes up from the pot the plant arrives in.
How often should I water container plants?
Daily in hot weather, every other day in milder spells, much less through winter. Container plants dry out faster than ground-planted ones — the finger-in-soil test is the most reliable check.
Will they survive a UK winter?
Most hardy plants in this collection will, but containers freeze faster than ground soil. Move any tender plants indoors over winter, and wrap pots in hessian for the worst of it.
