Trees
A tree is the single most important plant you'll add to a garden — it sets the structure, the scale and the seasons.
Our tree range focuses on varieties that suit British gardens: smaller-statured ornamentals, hardy fruit trees, evergreens for year-round screening, and a small selection of architectural varieties. Hand-grown in Yorkshire, well-rooted, ready to plant out.

Knowledge
Frequently asked
When's the best time to plant a tree?
Autumn (October to November) is ideal — soil is still warm, rain is reliable, and roots have time to establish before spring. Container-grown trees can also be planted in spring.
How big will my tree grow?
Varies enormously by variety. Every product page lists the expected mature height and spread at 10 years, plus the ultimate size at full maturity.
How do I look after a newly planted tree?
Water generously for the first two summers, mulch around the base each autumn, and stake for the first year if your position is exposed.
