Knowledge
Frequently asked
Are herbs the only edibles I can grow indoors?
Mostly. Some tomatoes, chillies and strawberries do work indoors with a bright window, but herbs are the reliable starting point.
Where should I put kitchen plants?
Sunny windowsill for herbs and edibles. Counter corners or near a window for ornamental plants. Avoid spots right next to the cooker — heat is hard on plants.
What if my kitchen is dim?
Pick low-light plants (pothos, snake plant) for the decorative spots and grow herbs under a small grow light if you genuinely want them. Don't struggle with herbs in a dark kitchen.
