Knowledge
Frequently asked
How many plants is too many?
Subjective. Visually, one statement plant + a few medium plants is balanced. Three plants together (a plant grouping) reads more intentional than one isolated plant on a shelf.
Where should I put plants in a living room?
Near windows for the brightest spots, but not in line with radiators or direct heating vents. Use shelves or plant stands to add height variation.
Do living-room plants need different care from other rooms?
Not particularly — they need standard care. The main consideration is light and that you walk past them often enough to notice when they need water.
