The detail
Hebe Emerald Gem is a beautifully compact, dome-shaped evergreen shrub prized for its dense, bright green foliage. This hardy perennial forms a neat, naturally rounded mound of small, tightly packed leaves, making it an excellent choice for low borders, rockeries, containers and ground cover schemes. In summer, it may produce delicate small white flowers that attract pollinators to the garden.
Native to New Zealand, Hebe Emerald Gem is well suited to UK gardens and requires minimal pruning to maintain its tidy, globe-like shape. It thrives in a range of positions from full sun to partial shade and performs best in well-drained soil. Once established, it is a low-maintenance plant that provides year-round structural interest.
