The detail

Hosta, commonly known as Plantain Lily, is a hardy herbaceous perennial grown primarily for its dramatic foliage. This range includes plants with a variety of leaf colours and forms, from deep green and blue-green tones to striking variegation with white, cream, or golden margins. The broad, textured leaves form dense, mounded clumps that create strong visual presence from spring through autumn, while elegant lavender flowers rise above the foliage on tall stems in summer.
