The detail

Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound' is a beautifully compact, mound-forming deciduous shrub renowned for its spectacular display of pure white flowers in late spring and early summer. When in bloom, the arching branches become so densely covered with clusters of small, bright white flowers that the foliage is almost entirely hidden, creating a stunning snowdrift effect in the garden. Outside of its flowering season, the neat, dark green foliage and graceful arching habit ensure this shrub remains an attractive feature throughout the growing year.

A recipient of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM), Spiraea Snowmound is a reliable and easy-to-grow shrub that thrives in a range of garden settings. It is an excellent choice for mixed borders, informal hedging, cottage-style gardens, or as a standalone specimen plant. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators, making it a wonderful addition to any wildlife-friendly garden.
