The detail
Bring classic cottage garden charm to your borders with this set of three Foxglove Excelsior Hybrids. Renowned for their tall, stately flower spikes, the Excelsior Hybrids produce blooms in a stunning mix of cream, pink, purple, rose and white, each adorned with beautifully spotted throats. Unlike many foxglove varieties, the Excelsior Hybrids hold their individual bell-shaped flowers more horizontally around the stem, creating a fuller display and making the intricate markings inside each bloom easy to admire.
These plants are a magnet for bees and other pollinators, making them a wonderful addition to any wildlife-friendly garden. Thriving in partial shade or dappled sunlight, they are perfectly suited to woodland edges, mixed borders, and informal cottage-style plantings. Hardy and low-maintenance once established, foxgloves naturalise freely and can self-seed to provide displays year after year.
